Kanda has had a rough weekend

First off, I've been in HIS brown chair for large chunks of it as I sort through boxes. Today, while sitting there, I hear him screaming. I look over. SOul is on a kitchen chair and has a nail hooked through Kanda's eyebrow and is literally ripping Kanda's face off. That skin was stretched and I'm trying to calmly make Soul stop figuring if I scare him there is going to be blood everywhere (Kanda is fine and now everyone wants Soul dead).

Hey want to help me out? I might get interviewed if i win. I offered up a suggestion for one of the people working Rule of Three and there's a poll. Coworker L called today to see what I want to do with the haunted house. I can be there all next week (kiss finishing big bang goodbye. wonders if i can do this in my office hour...) I might be a scary character but I'm not sure if I can work the equipment. Yes, i can push a button but can I reset the scare? Also we're doing this in an old tobacco barn (which is apparently doing double duty as a humane shelter overflow but the dogs will be moved elsewhere on the farm). It's supposed to be COLD, as in potentially snowing cold. I'm from Pittsburgh. The old joke is you have to be sure your halloween costume can fight under a snow suit. That said I'm not sure i wanna hang out until midnight in the frigid weather.

I don't know what the hell I did to myself exercising today but my whole left hand is numb. I might have pinched the radial nerve since that's what's tingling like it's asleep. Been doing this since 4 pm....gah.

Speaking of GAH, what in the HELL would anyone want to split the smallish SF/Fantasy audience by puting Grimm up against Fringe? Seriously? I want to see this. It sounds a little bit like DC's Fables which I regret not continuing with a human rather than the Big Bad Wolf as the detective. I will skip Fringe to see the premiere but really...

Speaking of premiere's Once Upon a Time was okay. I'll give it a few more tries but I was underwhelmed.

hahahha, and i do so love it. My only qualm is what will the cold due to the pain in my shoulder. i'm still going to give it a try.

I missed seeing the contest posting, dang it.

That's sort of pointless. Tivo can record two channels (the one I'm watching and one I'm not, or one cable and one digital, but not two digital).

i'm not sure how tivo would interface with Dish (nor can i afford it currently) If I get Dish's dvr I can record more than one channel. if I have my own I can not. I have VHS and will until either all the tapes are totally dead or the machine is since I can't afford to replace it either

I don't know. If DISH can't talk to Tivo, then that's one strike against me changing from cable...

My old VHS appears to be working, but I can't seem to get it to talk to the television (I've tried both coax and direct-line in).

I don't know what DISH does with Tivo but I do know you're pressured into their dvr and I loathe their policies about dish placement (ditto Direct)

I didn't finish Fables, but I would love to get them all in collections. The series was very reminiscent of 10th Kingdom.

Yeah. I watched Once Upon a Time. It wasn't bad. The premise is interesting. Not sure how I feel about the whole jumping back and forth between the current time and what happened back then. I know they have to set it up but the preview they showed was why the wicked witch was so pissy with Snow White.

Yeah it had some interesting moments. I'm a little annoyed with the jumping back and forth (mostly because I have multiple other shows doing this and it's getting on my nerves) but i can see why they did it here.
