Kanda has had a rough weekend
Oct. 23rd, 2011 10:20 pmFirst off, I've been in HIS brown chair for large chunks of it as I sort through boxes. Today, while sitting there, I hear him screaming. I look over. SOul is on a kitchen chair and has a nail hooked through Kanda's eyebrow and is literally ripping Kanda's face off. That skin was stretched and I'm trying to calmly make Soul stop figuring if I scare him there is going to be blood everywhere (Kanda is fine and now everyone wants Soul dead).
Hey want to help me out? I might get interviewed if i win. I offered up a suggestion for one of the people working Rule of Three and there's a poll. The mysterious thing he was handed was the question. I offered up ceramic amuplla. I won't vote for myself but if you'd like to.... anyhow find the poll by clicking here
Coworker L called today to see what I want to do with the haunted house. I can be there all next week (kiss finishing big bang goodbye. wonders if i can do this in my office hour...) I might be a scary character but I'm not sure if I can work the equipment. Yes, i can push a button but can I reset the scare? Also we're doing this in an old tobacco barn (which is apparently doing double duty as a humane shelter overflow but the dogs will be moved elsewhere on the farm). It's supposed to be COLD, as in potentially snowing cold. I'm from Pittsburgh. The old joke is you have to be sure your halloween costume can fight under a snow suit. That said I'm not sure i wanna hang out until midnight in the frigid weather.
I don't know what the hell I did to myself exercising today but my whole left hand is numb. I might have pinched the radial nerve since that's what's tingling like it's asleep. Been doing this since 4 pm....gah.
Speaking of GAH, what in the HELL would anyone want to split the smallish SF/Fantasy audience by puting Grimm up against Fringe? Seriously? I want to see this. It sounds a little bit like DC's Fables which I regret not continuing with a human rather than the Big Bad Wolf as the detective. I will skip Fringe to see the premiere but really...
Speaking of premiere's Once Upon a Time was okay. I'll give it a few more tries but I was underwhelmed.
and how did making soup take my whole afternoon?

Poor damaged woman

here, have a series of nightmare fuel progressively getting closer

what i DO like about her though, is that you know she was probably NOT some stock catalog memorial. This was probably taken from a photo/portrait of her.

same with this little girl

This one was so smooth it's like they ran out of money to carve the face

Date: 2011-10-24 03:27 am (UTC)Cool pictures.
Maybe they assume all SF fans have DVRs (I already record Fringe, not a stretch to record another channel).

Date: 2011-10-24 03:32 am (UTC)they must. sadly I can only record the channel I'm watching. thanks for nothing dish

Date: 2011-10-24 03:44 am (UTC)That's sort of pointless. Tivo can record two channels (the one I'm watching and one I'm not, or one cable and one digital, but not two digital).

Date: 2011-10-24 04:24 am (UTC)i'm not sure how tivo would interface with Dish (nor can i afford it currently) If I get Dish's dvr I can record more than one channel. if I have my own I can not. I have VHS and will until either all the tapes are totally dead or the machine is since I can't afford to replace it either

Date: 2011-10-24 04:26 am (UTC)That pinched nerve does not sound fun.
Good luck with the haunted house. Take a warm beverage in a thermos or something.
I didn't finish Fables, but I would love to get them all in collections. The series was very reminiscent of 10th Kingdom.

Date: 2011-10-24 04:39 am (UTC)it is not. it's painful to type and i'm so behind
thanks. It depends on where I am and what I'm doing if i can carry warm beverages in
I might go look at where i left off and get the collections too
