cornerofmadnessI don't feel comfortable asking anyone to pause and read chunks of my crap for ego boosting. Not that it's strictly necessary and not that I can't put some up. Ah well
Work was worky. no news on that front
and since right now my life is nano and work, I feel boring.
I don't have anything new on my big bang. that worries me. Got my artists tonight. I'm very excited to see who they are.
snippet of the day - Sverre didn't like to admit that make sense. He was glad when the train arrived. To his surprise the car that Drake led them to was private and more luxurious than anything he had ever seen even before the war. Eight roomy chairs, well padded, were grouped so two people could face each other on either side of the car.
The rosy velvet fabric was broken into flower shaped islands by creamy embroidery and the whole chair seemed to wrap him in welcoming arms when he settled into it. He rested his scarred shoulder against the window as Eetu sat next to him. The wood paneling in the car was a deep walnut or some other sort of dark wood, gleaming as the sunlight hit it. Frosted glass and brass lights ringed around the room. Sverre sank as deeply into the chair then cast about to see Drake across the aisle with the goddess, the princess and his mousy underling.

Depending on the dogs. I met some really cute ones today, a Cairn terrier, with a rescued Shih Tzu, an American Spitz, and a mini-dachshund. They were all very friendly and wanted attention (which shocked me about the Shih Tzu).
