The days, they bleed away so fast

Somehow it's already past 9 in the evening and I feel like I've done nothing with my day. I did wrap gifts. Okay they look like a brain damaged one handed monkey did it but they're wrapped. I don't quite have then in their mailing boxes.

I did get the garbage out but I cleaned nothing.

I put up the solar christmas lights. they actually worked. they're petering out already but it was half a day charge so...

In weight-off news I've gained 5 pounds suddenly to my disappointment. Life's been weird though. I had to up my insulin which accounts for the weight gain but then this week my sugar has been hovering near normal for the first time in forever BUT I'm insanely hungry. I mean hungry to the point of nausea for no reason I can see

Talked to Mom and found out I sent my christmas card to my grandma without signing it. See I TOLD you I belong in the home with her. I have alzheimers. god. My aunt has begun her final fade it seems like. Mom and Dad have been going to her house every day.

I did send mom off to watch Bag of Bones since she loves Pierce Brosnan as do I.

Me - even though he looks HORRIBLY old.

Mom - thank you. I thought it was just me

Me - hell no, he aged terribly and suddenly. Oh it's a mystery with a little horror in it Mom.

Mom - It's is scary? Stephen King wrote it

Me - Nah, it was a good book more mystery than horror (hee hee, liar)

Mom goes to watch it. Five minutes later the phone rings.

Mom - IF YOU THINK i'M WATCHING THIS SCARY THING YOU'RE OUT OF YOUR MIND!

Me - chicken. She hung up.

AND Solar Lights are BRILLIANT. (ESP when I lived in WI. I had no outdoor outlets. I used a string of LED lights instead of leaving my porch light on, since it made the moths SWARM and it was ICKY!!!)

I can relate to the weight woes. I think I told you before about bouncing around in the same five pound range forever - still stuck there, regardless of what I do. I will think, "Ok, I've been really on-track for over a week now, SURELY I will have broken through the plateau," and I'll find out I gained back three of the five. *headdesk*
