this day did not go as planned
Dec. 14th, 2011 11:21 pmI woke up with a migraine, the first one in 6 weeks and took my new migraine pill. Um, yeah, i ended up with every side effect known to man. I didn't know that it was a serotonin agonist. I don't deal well with serotonin reuptake inhibitors (as in I'm allergic) I didn't have an allergic reaction but all the side effects, drowsiness, flushing and nausea being the worse. Frankly the headache was probably less obnoxious than the cure.
It ate up my whole day. I ended up doing nothing so my house is barely any cleaner but I did get the car packed up.I'll be heading home tomorrow.
I finally finished watching Neverland. It was boring for the first hour but then it got better. But what I actually liked was that they use actual Native Americans for Tigerlily and her people.
And I'm now very angry. I was using my netbook and watching TV and the ONLY thing i had up was LJ and yahoo and got hit by a virus. The system's free antiviral caught them but won't remove them unless i buy it...wtf? And it says both Google Chrome and the verizon broadband are infected. well the parents have wifi so hopefully i can download something to clean it up. Fucking hell, you are not supposed to get viruses just from answering emails
ETA - and once again LJ and Twitter defriended people for me. I've gone back and refriended them. I have no idea why these two and FB do this.

Date: 2011-12-15 10:49 am (UTC)About the virus - be careful. Some virus imitate an error message from your computer, saying that it is being attacked and all and that you need to buy or download the newest update to get rid of it. It happened to me a couple of months ago... It was a pain to kick that virus out but it could have been far worse (especially during exam time).
It might be a genuine threat but I'd check before downloading anything if I were you. If you have a antiviral, Norton or McAfee, check to see if it detected the threat as well. Or/And after, google the title of the warning messages or the name of the threat.

Date: 2011-12-15 02:54 pm (UTC)oh yeah been there, drank the kool-aid. I plan on putting malware bytes and a few other things on my flash drive and going in the back door on the little computer. That's what happened with the main computer in October forcing me onto the little computer all Nov.

Date: 2011-12-15 04:14 pm (UTC)Viruses are so ridiculously annoying. And that you have to pay to get it wiped after the anti-virus software found it? Grr.
Have a safe drive home tomorrow.
