remembering why I don't like baking

You need to be too precise. The heat on mom's stove must have sneaked up since we nearly burned one of the three million peanut butter blossoms we made. Tomorrow baklava, wed. rosettes...

Had to go to granny's. I'm pretty sure that was the heat of hell enclosed in that place. I had to turn off the heater AND open a window. even she was whining about the heat. we were there for 2 hours in which she said she didn't want us there on christmas because we make her miserable and nervous (You know what, fine by me) then she settled down into making out holiday cards for her family then got pissed that we gave the staff holiday candy (it's too early) and then was pissed we left after 2 hours. This is why no one wants to go see her.

Got cards from helliongoddess (and i had no record of sending you one so another is on the way) and suspicious. Thank you ladies. they're lovely.

And now the prejudice duo are here to watch the steeler game but the damn 49ers stadium's transformer blew. the game is stalled. They are SO DAMN LOUD.

Yes, I burnt the first batch of cookies at Mom's because I forgot her oven is set about 10 degrees higher. Oops.

Hmmm, oven may've finally warmed up completely. I'm not sure. My oven here runs a little high, too, but I've never figured out how high, mostly because I've never baked cookies here. :D
