Obviously between my aunt's death and the holidays but mostly I found the straw that broke the camel's back. In recent years, my anxiety is kicked off by conflict and hostility and since my flist is abounding with that right now,it's affecting me. (not that I'm not saying it's unjustified, between Facebook, Yahoo, Twitter and now LJ changing things that didn't need changing I'm frustrated too) But you know what, I just have other things I really need to deal with now besides this.

That said, if you have something you think I'd like to see, link me up by all means. I could use the distraction.

And thank you everyone for all the condolences. I appreciate it. I really do.

Today wasn't that bad. Mostly I just worked on my lectures and then made cookies and baklava with mom who wanted to work more and think about it less.

Then we watched my netflix rentals Captain America and I have Iron Man 2 as well. I was thinking jojo_kun would love it.

ETA - it was a crappy Yule even without my aunt's passage. The winter solstice was marked by 60 degree weather and a thunder storm. it's like nature, this is not the summer solstice

The baklava sounds SO GOOD right now. I've made it twice. The first time was AMAZING... the second time? I did something terrible to the simple syrup and it ended up becoming hard candy with phyllo and nuts in it!

I don't blame you for taking a vacation. Too much angst up in here!

I actually PURCHASED the "WEI WEI PONPONPON" song for my skates because it's one of the FEW things that seriously makes me smile lately.

All. I know about in terms of people angsting is the LJ changes,but perhaps I am better off not knowing what else is going on- I'm already tired of hearing all the kerfuffle over the LJ stuff (really doesn't seem worth all this fuss to me.)

Oh dear i've just seen the post i'm sorry about your aunt passing away, may she rip. I'm like you frustrated with all of the bickering going on between fb, twitter, and so forth but next week i will be in maryland visiting family first real trip outside NYC wow.
But you do what you have to do to gt some type of order in your life the flist will still be here. I'm going to check out netflix and see if i can recommend some good movies to you through.
