ALcohol makes my family less obnoxious...well alcohol in ME that is. The guests aren't even here and I've killed a third of a bottle of rum. WOnder if I can stay drunk for the next three weeks. Might be the only way to survive.

quick fic FB - Silent Night was lovely. Great demon and I liked Spike/Dawm's slow start of a relationship. I'm a little disappointed that you won't let Spike and Angel admit that they were "friendly" back in the day, but can't have everything.

Also loved Brambles & Briars # 4. It was great to see the Faith/Connor side of the story. And Faith is right - Connor needs to tell all to Angel, so I'm looking forward that that bit of angst.

Thanks for the feedback. As for Silent Night, Gavin was more fun the first time around but I'm gladyou enjoyed it (I'm from the Pittsburgh area and will probably be going to the Phipps next week). As for A/S, you know if they hadn't made it a totally ridiculous one off like they did I might have been more inclined to include it. It had no place in this story. MIght deal with it in other stories (built on lies for one) but it was so out of character especially for SPike who otherwise has been the most homophobic character the Jossverse has practically since the day he sauntered on screen that it feels exceedingly wrong to use it.

As for Awful Beautiful Life - thanks, i had realized two things, a) this series is meant to be angsty with hope so I couldnt' make it too fluffy b) I've put C/F together in various ways but really hadn't ever had them examining the crap lives they've led
