Not my favorite thing in the world and yet I do it so well. Met my BFF from college at the mall and we hung out for a few hours then exchanged gifts. She gave me a cool scarf and the glass dragon embossed tea strainer from Teavana that I wanted.

I picked up an Original Star trek calender and two Spock ornaments and one of Han shooting Greedo (cuz nothing says Merry Christmas like alien murder) for mom for next year. Provided I can remember where I put them.)

And the best news of the night, prejudice girl and her hubby are not coming! more bubbling strawberry wine for me

I could easily spend a fortune in Teavana! I got myself a crane tetsubin set and my daughter a dragonfly one last year. This ( http://www.teavana.com/tea-products/teapots-teapot-sets/artisan-teapots/yixing-teapots/p/sea-dragon-yixing-teapot ) Yixing teapot has been calling me for over a year (partly because it reminds me so much of Goujun from Saiyuki Gaiden. *sigh*) Maybe someday....

I got Mr. Hg this huge authoritative Star Trek (original series) book, and some Star Trek action figures for Christmas. The figures are Kirk & Spock from the episode Amok Time - Kirk's uniform is even sliced open across the front, and they have those two weapons they were dueling with, among other little props. He's better than me, he's leaving it in the plastic - I'd have taken it all out and played with it by now!

And yay for a break from prejudice girl, and a big ewwwwwwww for bubbling strawberry wine. I've never known anyone over the age of 21 who voluntarily drank that crap. >.<

I don't actually like their tea much. I do like the tea pots though and that sea dragon pot is very cool. I've eyed that one myself.

The only tea I actually bought from them was - well, not actually tea, but a bag of chai spice to add to tea, and it was quite good. Mostly, I've just bought - and oogled - teapots and tea sets.

All I can think of with strawberry wine is the artifical crap like Boones Farm - but I guess it is conceivable that the real thing could taste pretty good. I guess it's just my image of it that's been ruined... the cheap stuff tastes like strawberry fizzies with a little alcohol added. :P

their tea (well the flavored) less tea and more cheap add ins for a very high price. I prefer www.adagio.com
