Students making up labs they missed eating into time i needed for grading and doing the budget requests that were sprung on us.

Called student loans. They need my tax return, my pay stub and a letter from the office stating that my pay is every month. Mom said isn't that ridiculous can't they just take your salary and divide by 12 and see you're paid monthly? Yes mom they can but they can't because American Education Services is staffed by utter morons.

Went to the doctor only to find out when I rescheduled the last appt they scheduled me as a no show. He worked me in but you could tell he didn't want to bother. Told me to take tums. didn't answer my questions. finally gave me a new med the insurance company said no way too. This guy was a dick when I saw him 6 years ago. I think I'll politely ask my family physician for a different referall or will just call one myself. He might wanted to have known how long I was on stomach meds, that I have an incompetent cardiac sphincter, family history of chrons and colitis but you know what, forget him. I always told my patients that if you felt I wasn't listening to your needs tell me or find a doctor who doesn't ignore you. There are plenty fish in the sea so I'm taking my own advice.

L wants me to audition for a play with her. It sounds like a fun one BUT I dont' have either class lectures finished plus 2 pro writing anthologies I want to try for. I had to say now (it was about 6 older women trying to kill each other)

I made my own egg drop soup tonight. I had some dehydrated shitakes lying around so I tossed in a few. I ended up with something unplanned.





note: shitake stems are woody and inedible for the most part so I couldn't have eaten this even if I wanted to

I'm sorry your doctor is a jerk. Hopefully you can find another one to go to, so you don't have to deal with it.

I once had a dermatologist call me, get me to reschedule, and then be short-tempered and snippy because I came in (on the date HE assigned) with little notice. One time that I could agree with Mitt about liking to fire a person.
