Never been so happy to go home

Even with my parents fighting. Maybe someone here will be jailed or whatever it is that's going to happen by the time I get back. Sigh. Actually called a realtor and he turns out to be my friend's grandad. I knew he worked for the realtor but his name was on none of the things on the website. I was trying to get an idea about the website as is this ALL they had? What makes me cry is of the three websites for the main 3 realtors is there are the 60K and below shit boxes then it jumps up to about 115-120K and there are houses there I could live in but unless I get better financing and some help with the downpayment, the mortage is @ 200$ too much. That kills. Like this one: Victorian near my library It's a bit too in town but gorgeous enough to ignore that but you and I both know what will happen? I'll kill myself on that spiral staircase. Bedroom #3 would be mine (but how does anything get UP those stairs??)

But right now this is calling my name. Yeah it's small but I get 6 acres. I'll put up a shed for my shit. log cabin No damn neighbors. I might love you tiny cabin.

I cleaned some but mostly laid around beind depressed. I gave up revamping one of my older stories. I just don't have time now. Thanks for the valiant effort though evil_little_dog

Dinner was a bust. It was a really simple meal chile-lime shrimp over a bed of raw jicama. The shrimp was horrible. Fishy and old. even the cats wouldn't eat it. And I burnt my soup (don't laugh, got distracted by packing and cooked all the water out)

I did find some stuff while cleaning, including health records i thought were lost. about several volumes of the cauldron I'll need to copy and send to ELD if she wants them.

I got my strawberries planted (with neighbors STARING at me but this crew has always done that. they make me uncomfortable) in a pot. I figure if they lasted a week in the container they were in, they can last 4 days while I'm gone inside the house.

I won some ebook on writing emotional characters or some such. I don't remember the contest but I've entered many with this blog hop stuff. That's fun

I love both properties... as for that spiral staircase? It gives me vertigo just thinking about it. It probably only hits me thigh high! Yoinks!

Your neighbors sound awful. Hopefully they do their blow up while you are away... if they do blow up.

there are some really nice ones just outside of town (not featured here) but unless i get a raise or can reduce that one student loan they are for not.
