Now I remember
Jan. 19th, 2005 09:55 amwhy hospital beds have tents over the feet...slept badly again (the night before it was just anxiety to the point of 'rug burn' from the flannel sheets on my face from thrashing, and blood everywhere from bitten lips and scratched arms) The pressure of the sheet on my foot felt like an elephant was sitting on it. Might try to use the back of the chair tonight to rig up a tent.
The foot's a beautiful blue and is about twice it's normal size. Sigh. It snowed. Screw it. I'll worry this afternoon about it because I can barely walk at this point. It's grey out, probably snow more any how.
ETA - just looked out the kitchen window. It must have snowed 5-6 inches. I'm so screwed.
