I am not hopeful

I'm grading one classes' open notes, open book, talk to each other and ask ME for answers busy work and there are people missing more than half. Another class barely bothers to show up. I am just...disappointed i guess is the word I'm looking for here.

I made up for it with library books and my favorite Mexican place.

Btw for those of you willing to read the scarred soldier story, I'm allowed to make acknowledgements so let me know if you want that and what name to use (still looking for those who want to read it).

It was odd, half my students today wanted podiatry advice and then so did one secretary. I MISS being a doctor so much.

I've painted my finger nails neon purple with glitter. This makes me happier than is reasonable

ETA -Mom just called at midnight. they had to take grandma to the hospital for weakness and possible pneumonia, not completely unexpected since she's been refusing both food and to get out of bed.

Purple is one of my very favorite colors. If I choose a hanging basket of flowers in the spring, it's usually purple, sometimes with pink flowers mixed in.

I had a purple coat from before I lost weight that I just gave my cousin who lusted after it unashamedly. LOL

Sorry about your grandma. At her age, that's not good news at all.

same here. all my flowers are purple blue or black with some hot red
