cornerofmadnessand deliever .5ccs of DEATH. Or at least that's how my body is reacting to the pneumovax23 vaccine I got today. Holy fuck, how does that little fluid cause THIS much pain? My body is being a total baby about this. I'm not even exaggerating a little when I say this hurts nearly as much as the PT on my shoulder rebuild. I can not lift my arm. For hours I was dizzy, nauseous and exhausted. I'm better now except for the arm and a mild heaviness in my chest which seems to think it was given pneumonia.
I went to the endocrinologist and the news was really pretty bad. My blood sugar levels rose 2 points. THey're nearly twice the normal limit. He's considering giving me a stronger, more dangerous to use insulin or something radical for weight loss (the surgery might not work for me because of my other stomach issues including GERD and paresis which I just found out my cousin has and she is NOT diabetic. See, I keep telling the doc this but they never believe me and it's on BOTH sides of the family, I swear to god my parents are cousins back in the old country) or a very dangerous scheduled drug, part of which is actually anti-seizure medication and I'm betting the other part is amphetatmine (I'll have to do my research). So I'm a little depressed about that. The GOOD news my kidneys are working so well I have low creatinine levels and my cholesterol is good except my good cholesterol which is low because I need to get off my fat ass and exercise.
THe little grey complainer is back tonight. He was fed. I put himi in the nest I built him but I think he went back under the porch Well, it's warm there since my house leaks like a sieve. Soul's all swollen up. Maybe I'll take them both to the shelter together. So hard. Doesn't help when my facebook is covered with pictures with 'my mommy/daddy took me home then brought me to the shelter to die' all over them (I filtered one of them out, not for this but for other crap)
My other solar panel snowflake worked tonight. They change colors. I didn't know they did that but boy they only last an hour or two. For their price they should last all night (still, might be a battery charge issue) my neighbors love them.
I admit it, I love the lights of this season, the candles, the holiday lights, the tacky seizure-inducing lights, the whole nine yards.
ETA - laughing at this. Songs of fire and ice con THis is NOT that far from me. I thought Ravenswood was being sold (well asking those kinds of prices in the middle of freaking nowhere....) This just a couple towns over

I had this one who insisted my marathon-running stomach from a single does of some antibiotic was all in my head. ^^; It was worse than the sore throat I had which got me the antibiotic in the first place. >.> I hope you don't have to take the hardcore meds! *huggles*

Sadly, all of our hobbies are sedentary ones. Even my photography (which used to be a very active thing - even in the darkroom!) ends up being sedentary with digital editing. Writing, reading, tv or movie appreciation, driving... all sit on one's ass activities. Hell, just being American, in an exclusively auto commuter society... I swear, if it wasn't for our dogs, I wouldn't get out and about like I do now. They make me walk, play, run - every day - and make my breaks from the other stuff much more fun and healthy.
