It keeps beating me up - Homer Simpson (from tonight's episode, probably one of the funnier things on there in a while and fits me to a tee.

Oopsie I thought I had until the 15th of Decemeber to submit a short story of mine. It's this coming weekend. I took a little time off my nano to work it over since it's worth the try. (a new publisher, not that I have anything against mine but it might not hurt to have a few more to play with).

I did make progress on the nano. I'm proud of myself for that. And pretty much that's the only thing I've done all day. That and be depressed about Soul. I haven't logged into my work email yet to see if they said anything but then they're not meeting until tomorrow. THis puts me in a bind. I want to help the kitten too. He has a lame leg now. I can't bring him in here with Soul (and lame, I'd be afraid Kanda would inadvertantly make it worse). Sigh.

ETA - I forgot to mention I didn't get a sunday paper for the coupon since holiday weekends there isn't any really. I moved on to the recycle paper dumpster at the wal-mart and found someone had tossed a paper with the coupons just sitting there. THen I realize there are MANY papers with coupon packs in there. So now I'm dumpster diving for coupons. I think I got about 10 packets (like I need this many). I have no shame.

I have a coworker who reads the newspaper and clips coupons while "at work". Stuff is piling up and she's over at the desk, snip snip. ARGH! Yeah, good thing I'm not a supervisor. I mean, I dick off, too, but not when there is WORK. Jeez.

i was going to get those damn coupons. What I could possibly do with 10 coupons for pillsbury rolls I have no idea. I know exactly what I'm doing with 10 1$ off coupons for pomegrantes
