Party Drabbles

I guess it's been so long since I've been to a real party I've forgotten what they're like. The first one is R rated for drug use and the second is NC-17 (and sheesh, why was this first to mind?). The others are PG-13 and the last one is a double drabble (sorry about that. It simply demanded it)

Spike/Dru - 1935 - Swing Time
Nothing like a high-class party, Spike thought, lifting the coke spoon to his nose. Rules didn’t apply to these blokes. He grinned as the drug roared through his system. Bloody Harrison Act, can’t even get ‘medicinal wine’ or real ‘coca-cola’ any more.

It was almost as good as Slayer’s blood. That thought in mind, Spike waded onto the dance floor and claimed Drusilla from the wanker she was doing the jitterbug with. His black rose smiled at him, as always eager to dance with her boy.

"So many pretty flowers. Which to pick first?" She smiled.

"Your choice, princess."

* AN - cocaine was the active ingredient in both coca-cola and medicinal wines, the latter which date back to Spike’s mortal days. He, like most of Europe, was probably slightly addicted to it. The Harrison Act put an end to OTC cocaine and this drabble in no way intends the promotion of cocaine use.

Giles - 1970's - Bacchanalia (NC-17)
Giles crackled his knuckles, looking at the revelers. Power thrummed through his naked body. The room hung with the scents of lust, alcohol and faintly of pot. The latter two wouldn’t be used again until afterwards, when they could afford to be lax. He didn’t need chemicals to feel high. Nothing could compare to the ecstasy he felt now with Eyghon caged within him.

Deirdre swallowed his rampant cock greedily. He eased away from her.

"Later, after I’ve warmed up." Giles’s eyes settled on the nubile girl Ethan was trying to woo. She thrilled Eyghon. "Let the party begin."

Buffy S3 (immediately after Dead Man’s Party) Tough Love
Buffy gave in to her emotions, collapsing on her bed in tears. What a horrible night. What had possessed Willow and Xander to think that a huge party with people she barely knew from school would be the way she’d want to come home after running away?

She could have survived that if not for her mother acting like she was going to just take off again, or worse, the absolute venom with which Xander had treated her. How could a friend be so vicious? The zombies had come as something as a relief to the ‘tough love’ she had been dealt.

Buffy/Faith/Connor Post Chosen/NFA - Plastic Beads

This was what she got for listening to Faith. ‘Come on, B. It’s Mardi Gras, party time. It’s New Orleans. There has to be vampires, right?’ She should have known better than to sign onto a working vacation with Faith. She should have stopped at five hurricanes but the sweet rum drinks were addictive. Maybe she should have studied at the school of quick escapes that Faith and Connor had obviously attended or at least ignored the demands to show her boobs.

"Hello, Giles...I need bail money..." Buffy blushed. "Public lewdness. Yes, Giles, I got the damn plastic beads...quit laughing."

Connor/Angel Post NFA (double drabble) Celebrations
The plane ticket to Galway City came as a surprise but the plea for help from a Watcher named Giles seemed plausible enough. A call to Angel confirmed Giles was a friend so Connor took a week off of classes and made the flight. He was curious about what Giles wanted but Connor’s money was on some damn prophecy about the son of two vampires. He was even more curious why the meeting place was in the King’s Head Pub.

The yells of surprise startled him. Connor saw his few friends that survived Black Thorn’s attack, Willow, Faith and a bunch of people he didn’t know.

Angel clamped a hand on his shoulder. "Happy birthday, son. I know we’re about two weeks early but Halloween was the only time we could get together."

"It’s a demon’s night off holiday," Spike offered, lifting a beer.
"I don’t understand," Connor said.

Angel smiled. "You’ve never had a real birthday party so..." He waved a hand at everyone. "Happy birthday and let me buy you a beer."

Connor felt tears of joy stinging his eyes. "Thanks, Dad."

* Author’s Note - King’s Head pub is real and has been a pub since the 1600's. Chances are Liam drank there.

I can't remember who designed the church but it's supposed to be an important piece of archetecture and you know how I feel about those. :-)

Lol, the one about Connor's birthday was really sweet :) And I loved the Spike/Dru one, obviously. It was the 3rd one I liked reading the most I think though, Dead Man's Party felt like a really harsh episode on Buffy and the drabble continues on it well.

Yeah, I mean, I personally don't like Buffy all that much but that episode really had me feeling sorry for her and mad at everyone else for the way they were treating her.

I liked Buffy up until about S4 then she became to annoy me. But I always did like Giles and Willow best

Yeah, Willow is a sweetie (and I HATED it when they killed poor Tara). And I do like Giles too, used to like Xander quite alot too, until he started acting, I dunno, rather closed minded it seemed. It bothered me for some reason. And I really hated it when he jilted Anya like that.

I found Xander to be very close minded and harsh, as if he never forgave Buffy for not loving him, even when he had Anya. then you meet his dad you and you know why he is that way

only once, at the wedding. And through the things Xander tells us. His dad is obviously alcoholic and abusive, at least emotionally.
