Today was a manifestation of the things in my head

Seriously. I've been thinking about Wayne's World all week and thinking I'd like to see it again and today in the Walmart (the washer ate like three pairs of underpants so I was there for new cheap crap) there it was for 5$. Mine. Also, there was something else in the 5$ bin that I knew a friend would like but it only had one. WHY do they always have 50 of crap no one wants but only one hidden treasure?

Then it was the book sale at the library down to 1$/bag. I was thinking, I wonder whatever happened to that gay book a friend insisted I read and I asked the library for (not knowing then it was a Lulu press thing). I assumed they would do interlibrary loan for it but no, this was when I learned that they seemed to like me and would order things I asked for. I looked on the tables, saw nothing and put my bag with my stuff so I could go pee. I saw three more tables I had somehow missed and there it was! Right on the table closest to the hallway to the restrooms. I ran back and stuffed it in the bag. I didn't actually really want it but I felt responsible for it.

Logic Me - go on, tell everyone what you did.

Addict Me - bought a huge bag of books! They're in the trunk of the car with the other two bags I bought in the last two weeks.

Logic Me - And?

Addict Me - bought manga from booksamillion yesterday

Logic Me - AND?

Addict Me - Bought a yaoi light novel with dub con sex in it but you can't blame me. Digital Manga Publishing has stopped doing PRINT manga. I have to get them while they still exist. I'm NOT sorry and I'll probably buy more books again.

And in the spirit of manifesting my desires I'm going to write up my synopsis for the novel Kept Tears (anyone want to read the synopsis?)and look at houses. You KNOW you want to look at them with me. DO click on the additional photos and video tours because you NEED the laugh.

Mom likes this one In all honesty, it's a nice little house but it's in town and I'm trying to avoid that. Also the rug up to the open concept kitchen would have to be ripped out.

I liked this one until you realize that it's NOT FINISHED. that's a lot of money for a house I'd have to finish building. It's in a very desirable area of Jackson but in the total opposite direction of Athens and places I want to be so...

I was all OOOO a red house! Until I realized...um there's no road up to it. Where do I park? Wait, the garage isn't done?!? OMFG that bathroom. EEEK the worst kitchen ever. Okay this needs TLC....but costs a bit much for that

too cheap, what’s wrong I DO like this. It's handicapped accessed so i'd have to redo the bathroom totally to get a tub. Given the price I'm betting it's not as nice as it looks.

If you only click on one video tour make it this one I think an art student had a nervous breakdown and painted this place. Or maybe the person who owned the Gobbler.

Actually I see nothing wrong with this It even dropped 7K since last night. I have no idea who this late designer is so I'm going to have google him. The entrance hallway IS claustrophic.

best of the bunch it's also dropped a lot since the original write up. I'm thinking I could use that horse corral for some dogs....

I did too. sadly this house is very small. There's storage in the shed I suppose but really only 2 bedrooms? it's the size of this apt.

yes they are. The downside would be the 80 mile round trip to work every day and the cost of living is much higher there. The upside is half my coworkers live out there and all my non-work friends do.

I really really like the one with the vaulted ceilings made by a "late great". I lol'ed at the tanning bed in bedroom 3.

I think eventually you'd want to put in a half bath... William's place has 3 bedrooms and only 1 bathroom... we figure putting in a large shower and sink/toilet in a "no frills" way in the basement so we can wash dogs, shower off after lawn work, and DASH from the garage to pee. That's down the road quite a ways...
