Happy Birthday idic_writer. Hope it was a great day.


And I really DO need to sit somewhere with my broken internet netbook and write. In the 2 hours my students were taking their tests I wrote over 2,100 words on three different stories.

As interconnected as the internet makes me feel, I have to face it's also an enormous time-suck.

Now that it's cooling down maybe I'll go outside and sit and write, you know until the neighbors start screaming or a bug touches me.

the internet IS a big time-suck.
I just had a taste of life without it (and I liked it!). I think what I/we lack is moderation with it. you and I both live pretty rural, so the world is really in here to us - rather than out there where it should be
