And in the house. Dad informed me that even though we have the same thing wrong with our arms, I can't possibly be telling the truth because it hurts too much to do ANYTHING. Yes, I do. I have the medical records, want to see. Sensing I wasn't the least bit sympathetic to his pity party, he turned the phone over to mom saying he wasn't a good conversationalist tonight. No, because you're being ridiculous about it. Yes, it hurts, life moves on. I'd probably have more empathy if not for the fact that my family always acts like I'm a hypochondriac making it all up ALL the time, no matter how many surgeons come and talk to them post-operatively to prove otherwise.

And if someone would like to make my holiday, I have two short stories I'm working on for anthology open calls in Jan/Feb. One is m/m erotica sent in Wales and is actually contemporary with a hint of folklore. (Imagine that!) and the other is for a project for homeless gay youth. It has a gay character but is not erotica. If anyone would like to look them over let me know. You'd be helping me more than you know.
