Oddly enough the ITs at work were willing to take him in and fix him if possible since it's finals week.

Man I hope they don't go through a) browser history b) files c) photos. Probably should have put a note on it saying I write erotica....

So I'll be offline for a day or two other than at work like now where I'm reluctantly paying bills before I get hit with many many late fees

I had one IT guy take a look at my "Pagan and Weird" Yahoo bookmark group when I had him fix a bollixed browser. Poor kid never spoke to me again.
That was in the day when I tried to maintain "portable" bookmarks.

One sick computer to another, I hope you get fixed up and back online soon. (Me, too.) Sharon's lending/loaning me her laptop in the meantime. Get to do more writing but it's in Word 2013 and my baby only has 2010. Not sure I'll be able to read it when I get her back. :P

just remember to use the drop down bar and set it to the older version and you'll be fine. I have to do to that often for the students (then I forget...)

FWIW I have a friend who does tech support. He's had people come in with, say, horse porn on their computer. They're all very professional about it and don't comment on it to the customer. :)
