Happy birthday (and late birthday) to
As for me I seriously considered eating my brains with a spork during the first school of science meeting that was a 2 hour bitch fest and this on top of a day where i run and talk for 5 straight hours (I don't think people realize I stand all day) without even a lunch break.
On the other hand outside of some mild knee pain I DON'T hurt today at all.
I got my writers group stuff in on time and I filled out the cover specs for my steampunk novella. YAY me. (I wrote most of that during the spork me please meeting).
I was also lucky that the mods of
Fan art calendar and it's one helluva a pretty one.
OMG the 70s I DARE the writers here to use these wall treatments in a story. Sad part? that swimmer mural thing? we had something like that and still do on the downstairs doors! And the flocked wallpaper on the shaggy staircase. Grandma's. No lie.

Date: 2014-01-16 05:57 pm (UTC)You don't need to go five hours without eating. It's an invitation to wild blood-sugar swings, but you already know that. Is there any way you could carry something like almonds in your pocket, and take a moment here and there to eat a handful? It isn't much, but it'll keep your system busy and trick it into thinking it's been fed.
I don't know who decided wallpapering the ceiling was a good idea, but they need to be horsewhipped. Retroactively, of course.

Date: 2014-01-16 06:22 pm (UTC)I usually bring a diabetic shake (and I did yesterday) since I can sip at it IN class. Yeah this is why diabetics shouldn't do highly restrictive diets.
I know. Actually one of the homes I looked at around here had wallpapered ceilings
