It's a Marshmallow World

It snowed over eight inches and school was canceled. Could I go out and do my celebratory snowman making? No, because I HAD to have a fasting blood sugar and get my toe x-rayed. I waited until noon, starving at this point and transferred my blood work up to Jackson's clinic (even after I said I'd never go there again) Because it's a 25 mile round trip compared to a 50 to go to Gallipolis. Plus I could give back a library book and pick up my 536$ in medication (400+ of that was nexium).
Thank you for not really even attempting to clean the road and they cleaned the fast lane...uh okay. It was a miserable drive up and was no better on the way back. I wouldn't have gone other than I NEED that blood test for my endocrinology appt and I have class in the morning this semester so unless I wanted up at be there at 6 AM I had no choice.
My toe is broken, transverse fracture distal phalange. I asked if I could have my own x-rays to use in class. They gave them to me but the are SO bad I have no idea how they were even used (I can see the fracture and the fluffy callus around it). I wanted them more to gauge the arthritis in my ankle and first MPJ and I can't see squat. It look like I was shaking the whole time or something.
