Why I don't like shopping for clothes online

I read an article the other day saying how malls are all going to be gone soon since they're irrelevant and I'm thinking are there really no one there? I've yet to be at a mall anywhere when it's not packed to the freaking gills and seriously, sometimes clothes shopping online sucks. It's 7-15$ to get them shipped and if it doesn't fit or fits but doesn't look so hot or the material blows it's another 7-15$ to mail it back and now you're out $$$ and have nothing to show for it. But sometimes there are things you want.

I got two items from Pyramid Collection in theory for a party (that I can no longer go to) and okay the party was merely an excuse to jam that crowbar into my wallet. One was a clearance item no longer even on the website to show you. it is pretty but it's more pastel and less vibrant than the picture. I'm not sure it does much for me but now that it's completely no longer for sale, I'm betting sending it back will be a hassle so i might keep it.

The other is this
water bird and it is every bit as lovely as the picture. The fabric is kinda scratchy and it doesn't have the shell with it (I suppose it doesn't say it did and that's not that big of a deal since well I have tons).

Still it's like am I ready to lose nearly 20 dollars in postage to return a shirt that was 30$ It is pretty....Might just keep it.

I'm trying hard not to be depressed tonight. It's so shocking to me every time a word or statement can send me down the rabbit hole especially when it's not even directed at me.

We might have an ice storm tonight so I cooked my ass off in preparation.I have tons of stuff I can eat now if the power goes out. I also made french onion soup from scratch but my ancient electric skillet is losing it's heating controls. That soup should have taken 2 hours to cook and was done in under and hour. oops. I'll need to keep an eye on that. (I think it's from the 70s) The soup is yummy.

I was contacted by the Madog Welsh center and asked to turn my research into an honors course.I told them I can't in the fall so maybe spring 2015. It was nice to be asked but it will be shit loads worth of work.

After 6 hours on my feet, my toe is puffy and numb. :(

My sugar was nearly 400 and I had a migraine when I woke up. Sucky day sucked.

OMG SO BORED with Bishop. She brings nothing to the table for me. I'm tired of her being the sole focus. It's like Abby/Tony/McGee are all second fiddle to her. I know we need to meet her and all but gah. She doesn't seem married to me. It's like an afterthought. It could make her different, a non-available cute blond but they seem to forget she's married. At least this terrorist thing didn't go on forever since they haven't done that well since Ari.

But her in the bathroom with Tony, NO just no. That was Ziva's thing and it made no sense then either. Speaking from experience this can get you into scads of trouble and unless you have a damn good reason it makes no sense. Bishop and Tony are in the same office why would she have to wait until he's pissing to talk to him.

Well...if I can buy from Deva (http://www.devalifewear.com/x/home.php), I might do that? I loved their stuff in the 80's, I'm sure they're still as good now. And I still have some of their shirts. Well, at least one of them.

I have stuff to eat. Not lots, but stuff.

Mom is threatening to come visit me tomorrow despite the weather - Sis KP and Brother will both be at the house. Together. I can imagine her wanting to run. :D

thanks. there was about three things I didn't like on Deva's opening page like all sales being final and if they're out of stock they'll send you something else... no you'll give me back MY money. I've never heard of them

The thing I didn't like is that they don't have the fabric to make clothes (which is probably why those hand-made clothes of theirs is 'final sales' and substitutions).

I can, too. My neighbor woke me up this a.m. trying to chisel his car open. I swear, any sound outside my window sounds like it's right outside my window.

It's a sad thing for a company that's been around since at least the 80's, and possibly before, providing really amazing product.

Well, I can understand them wanting to provide an excellent product. I mean, I have at least one of their shirts, still, that I bought in the 80's. Still beautiful.

I always have trouble buying clothes online. I end up sending them back half the time. Or intending to send them back and never getting around to it. It's such a hassle. Although I have been lusting after this (http://www.pyramidcollection.com/itemdy07.aspx?ID=51,1821&T1=P82363+S) at Pyramid Collection for a while.

same here. Shirts aren't so bad but dresses and pants are difficult, shoes utterly impossible because of my feet. And that's it, I've kept crap I shouldn't have because it's such a hassle. I will be the saddest person alive if all we ever could do is shop on line and no brick and mortar stores existed

Also I nearly bought that shirt too but it's a tad pricey for me (or I'm cheap, I'm never sure which)
