Once again I'm in the middle of edits so I'll keep this short. I won't even whine too much about doing those edits. I will say this, getting edits back that have NO room for another comment bubble on the first page does make you whine a lot though. Yikes. Luckily much of it is cosmetic stuff dealing with passivity which I'm apparently bad at (and I still think the first editor was more worried about things I still don't even understand because he missed all of this. Seriously. This should have been caught first round).

No, I want to talk briefly about naming things and seek some help from you all.

I suck at naming things. I'm astonished I even have the names of the characters down without much trouble and a tentative title beyond the working one of The Prophecy (which is its camp nano title). My Love's Landscape story has several groups in it. I need to name these.

Werewolves are a pack. Druids are a grove (or a coven) but what about vampires? I'm thinking clan or how about a murder (like crows). Thoughts? For this story vampires are a cohesive group because my character is meant to be the leader.

But what I'm really having trouble doing is coming up with a name for the group of Watchers (they're along those lines only the paranormals make up the bulk of the group). I was thinking it was formalized in the late Roman empire so I was looking at a Latin title. The Guardians becomes tutores hmmm The Protectors becomes in custodiis,(oh hell no) Right now I have them as the Lamp (light in the darkness sort of thing) which is the Lucerna. Thoughts? Other suggestions beyond Latin. I wanted to make it earlier, Greek but that came in the Greek alphabet which was not a help. (it does the same with Hindi or Hebrew. Might need to find a translator besides Google).

My vampires seem to favor "clan" or "family" -- although "murder" has a certain appeal, as well....

the way they 'breed' would lend itself to clan/family appellations but yes murder does

I looked it up and it said vampires come in covens, clans, or broods. But I thought I read somewhere they also come in slaughters. For what it's worth.
