I had planned to go out for beer and pizza tonight but for one reason or another only one of us could go and I would have to wait 3 hours before she was free. I hadn't slept all night so I decided we should just give it a pass.

Kanda should be happy I'm home (not that you can tell) because he CRIED the whole time I got ready for work and tried to be cute as hell to get my attention. I was gone 12 hours the last 2 days. Poor dude.


I'm going thru my cd collection, especially the country and jazz stuff. Some I love but others I bought and they sucked outside of the one song I bought it for. I think it's time to load those songs into the computer and sell the cds to halfprice books or something.


I'm trying to be nose to the grindstone on that novella but wow, I'm having trouble and I can't seem to get my soldiers of the sun story edited (except for what Katimac is sending me. Thanks) So disappointed in myself.

I tripped over my coat and slammed into a wall today. The students laughed. My hand hurts.

I was playing with a new to me software, pixlr and came up with a cover for my short story for camp nano with the working title (since I can't share the real one). I didn't want to waste too much time on it but here it is.

pixlr is a fun program. that came out really good

It was pretty easy. I didn't like however, that it saved this as some unknown extension that wasn't useable by everything.

Also I had a massive brain fart and couldn't figure out how to spell prophecy for like a full five minutes

hmm... it should save as a jpeg... mine did as I recall. it might be a setting choice during the save process?

instead of 'saving' look for 'save as'
