Fanfic stuff

Got back from the casino but I'll probably write that all up tomorrow after mom goes home. Had a good time though.

WHile she's busy doing something else, let me type up a few more fanfic recommendations50thousandtearz  is a good (and young, I would have killed to be this good in H.S.). Most of her fic is dark and intense. I tend to think of Wes/Lilah when I think of Tamar's work and she does have a lot of wonderful pieces. Check them out at Cruel and Unusual.

a2zmom also writes some very nice B/A stuff, some of what I've read has been darker in tone and I've quite loved it. So head to her LJ and poke about to find it. It's worth it.

And I thought we might want to check it out. Eonline is having a poll, which BtVS/AtS character you'd like to see get their own spin off. It's fun. I've voted. If you want to too, head here.

I had to vote for Connor, even though a Faith spin-off is more likely for a great many reasons. But either one, with the other character as side-kick, would of course please me no end.

Yes, I feel exactly the same. It was hard not voting for Faith and I would certainly tune into a spin off of either.

OTOH, I think I would pass on a Spike spin-off. Although it would probably be the one most likely to happen based on popularity alone, I doubt it would happen unless they hired a good digitizer to down-size JM's 40-something face.

And I am so sick of Spike at this juncture, it wouldn't even be worth it for more Buffyverse stories.

well yes it is unavoidable and him back in an equal time share ensemble role I'm okay with but the last two seasons of Buffy might of well have been renamed the Spike show (ditto Angel 5)

Oooo, a Fanged Four historical wuold be good. Probably too expensive (taht's why one of my favorite mysteries, Brother Cafael got canceled) But even as a two hour movie would be fun.

Oh, yes, a Fanged Four historical movie!!!!! They have just GOT to do that! I'd watch it three times a day for forever! Flashbacks were always my fave part of both BtVS and AtS.
