since my surgery.i'm doing pretty well. My incisions look pretty good, only mildly red. The bruising has turned a horrible yellow-green. I’m doing my exercises 3 times a day. I thought I could get off the narcotics. I was premature. I am having a lot ofbiceps triceps and deltoid spasms.

However my pain is pretty good. I can get up and down and in and out of bed with minimal issues pain-wise. The brace is on my last nerve. If nothing else I hope to lose the adductor bar strapped around my waist.

The stress of surgery has made my sugar go high. Between sugar and narcotics my memory and judgment are iffy. My emotions are high and a little weepy, today especially as hormones kicking. Having to be dressed and helped with showering isn’t helping. Not to mention the heat rash. It’s like wandering around like a giant raw nerve.

On the good news side, congrats to [livejournal.com profile] silvrethorn on her writing news.

As for my writing I spent half the day trying to find Welsh websites that should have been there but have disappeared. Sigh.

ETA; [livejournal.com profile] silvrethorn you want to see tell not show pn the bestsellar list pick up joanne fluke's hannah swensen cookie mysteries. this is excruiciating

Nausea is the worst if you can't sleep through it.

I wondered how long it would take the arm elevation apparatus to drive you crazy. Not long, apparently. Great to hear you're healing so well, though, especially after the crap you dealt with after your last shoulder surgery. What made the difference this time, the nature of the injury or the skill of the surgeon?

As a member of my writers group pointed out, you can break as many rules of effective writing as you like once you're established and have a following. Until then, though, you have to bust your butt to be exceptional. I've read a couple of those Hannah Swensen mysteries. They're lazily written and plotted and lean heavily on the charms of Hannah and her little Minnesota town, such as they are. Typical genre writing on a deadline, in other words. It seems to work for Ms. Fluke and Kensington Press, though.

oh that crap is waiting for me. i'm about even with that surgery though that one was more intensive. i'm 40 female and diabetic all factors in frozen shoulder. i'll probably have to fight through it again.

yes and no though more yes. hannah is her first series and is amazing that it got out there. it's everything you dsaid and sexis to boot

Glad you are healing well!

Little more time, you'll be good as new! (fingers crossed.)
