My students laughed at me

Because we were talking about pituitaries and I told them the dream i had this morning. I was in a clinic and this guy, blond with a beat up eye, wanted me to prepare for my procedure. I knew he wasn't a doctor but maybe a PA? He wanted to do something to my pituitary gland but the transsphenoid procedure he wanted to do was with something that looked like the ice tongs that come with a bar's ice bucket. Another patient was there and his face/eye were all bloodied from this.

Then a girl comes in and gives me the paperwork. I protest i don't need this but I start doing the paperwork anyhow. It has a place where you had to circle that resembled you, long blond hair, pixie cut etc. I saw the dark haired one then it was gone so I started to color in a blond and thought 'what am I doing?' No way I'm doing this and then the alarm rang.

Less funny - Me being unable to sleep and being so tired I say things I shouldn't in class. I have to let it go because it can't be reeled back but I NEED to stop doing that.

I have nothing profound to say about 9/11. I think I've talked out everything I had inside me to say about these anniversaries other than it seems to me a darker country these last 13 years and that makes me sad.

I got home and had to run to do laundry because I'll be occupied all weekend. I looked and the promised clothing package was still not here. Keep in mind it's 4 pm. I go, do laundry, return and THERE the package is. Really? Of course it all needs washed. The bras fit, but barely. The shorts are fine but the slacks. OMG. NFW. Now I knew they weren't all cotton (Not uncommon that plus sized pants have spandex as a small part but these are NOTHING like the ones in the catalog. They're freaking nylon. They look like NFL pants or basketball warm up shorts. Horrible. They're going back.

I don't know what I did to my arm but doing my ROM exercises today I couldn't move my arm as well as I did before I even came here. Hurts like fucking hell. sigh. These set backs suck and the scars are beet red so something is going on under the skin where I can see it.

Hee to the dream. The pants sound like a nightmare. This is why I try things on in the store - of course, if there isn't a store to go into, that hampers you, too.

I LOATHE shopping on line but a) I'm fat and b) I have a walmart and have to go 50 miles to find anything else so...Usually Roaman's stuff is nice. these took me by surprise in their horribleness
