But it seems either it or another equally large thing is in the one in the living room. I am NOT amused. I had to clean fiberglass this morning before I left and four times when I returned. I'm beginning to wonder if all the fiberglass is why Kanda is always sneezing and my left nostril is always oozing blood. It's not bleeding down my face or anything but there is always blood. Whee.

Today it's been 11 years since my aunt died. That seems impossible. I was still in Florida then. Wow.

Physical therapy kicked my ass today. It was over an hour and a half. Blech. I'm not getting appreciably better. A little yes but nothing to warrant getting excited over.

I wanted to wear my pin-stripe suit tomorrow to meet our president. I can't find the jacket. It was on a connected two-hanger deal. The pants are there....tomorrow will be rough. I hope I can make it through without losing all hope.

On the positive side, I went to the endocrinologist today and my hga1c was a SEVEN! That's the closest it's been to normal in over a decade. It's down almost four points. That's fantastic. Invokana is working for me. I don't care how expensive it is, I'm using it. Pray it doesn't destroy my kidneys (which had low creatinine this time which means not only are they working, they're working BETTER than average). My blood pressure was 100/60 (normal is 120/80). That's right heart, make no effort. If I get goofy or forgetful on you, keep in mind that is too low to properly perfuse the brain.

And I DID get the story out to the new publisher and they wrote back saying the synopsis was interesting. Cross your fingers. That story was weak. I made it a lot better this time but in looking at the cover letter this is the first time it's gone out the door in 3 years. yikes.

The response to my TBBT tribute to Leonard Nimoy has been great and so positive. It's lifting my spirits a little.

And here's George Takei’s touching tribute to Leonard.

Fiberglass? Get out of there! Move anywhere else! Yes, that's probably why Kanda's nose is bleeding--he's closer to it and cats will sniff anything.

That place is a legitimate health hazard and should be shut the hell down.

No his nose isn't bleeding MINE is. Probably from leaning over and cleaning vents. He's sneezing.

Yeah it probably is

Don't wait for the walls to start bleeding. Get out of there before you can say "Rodent droppings can carry hanta virus." That place is unsafe and unsanitary.

there is no where else to go. 95% of all housing here is HUD. Idon't qualify and this is the nicest place around. Seriously. My school is in worse condition than this. It's raining my office again

I'm glad your tribute story is going over so well!

WHy am I not surprised something else is living in the shaky shack's vents? Ugh. Maybe it's undead.

Yay good news! Good news!

More fiberglass & it sounds bigger than a rat? o.0 It must be slowly demolishing your home from the inside. T.T It's got to be health hazard, form the fiberglass particles in the air, to the bacteria on the pooh you're breathing in. *wishes someone who can do something would take this seriously* I'm looking at you, Mr. Landlord. >.>

A lil bit of improvement from the PT is better than nothing. Sorry, you hurting though. I can totally understand. *man-handled 12 cases of milk from the freight elevator onto a cart & then to the fridge at work today. You figure with 70 pieces in each case & each piece containing 8 ounces of milk... That adds up, so I feel your pain.

YAY! for having awesomely good & normal test results! :D

Good luck with your story!! Maybe this time's the charm! :D

It was such a good fic! I'm Mr. Nimoy woudl have loved it, if he could have read it.

That was a nice tribute from Mr. Takei! I love that Mr. Nimoy was everyone's Grandpa! That's so awesoem that this man was such a kind & loving individual that he treated everyone he met as family. How many of us, can say that? It's a wonderful thing to take away from such a sad moment, & if we all try to do that, not only is it a wonderful legacy, but the world will be a nicer place in the end.

Seriously. I'm going to go complain again for all the good it will do but it IS a health hazard.

Ouch that sounds like a hard job. Yuck.

Thanks. Here's hoping. I've been told they're good to work for.

Thank you, I'm glad you think so. That makes me happy.

I remember that tweet by Mr. Nimoy and I took him up on it in my heart. I lost my grandfathers very early on.

I guess you have to keep making a pest out of yourself before they'll listen. I hope they do listen up soon though.

It can be, but it's also fun when I'm not schlepping things. :D

You're welcoem! Yup!! Awesomeness! :D

You're welcoem! I'm glad I could make you happy! :D

Awe... *huggles* I really wish I had the opportunity to him him. He sounds like such a mensch! *sighs*

My one set of set of grandparents live in Florida & the other set are snowbirds, but they want to move down there permanently & that makes me sad, as I'll miss them. Not that I don't miss the others, but I guess this means my trips down there in the summer will have to be longer so I have time to visit everyone. :D

me too

Glad though that you mostly like the job.

He seemed nice. I'm learning more as this week passes

I get that. My grandparents are all gone now but when you consider I'm nearly 50 and my last one just died 2 months ago, I did well

*nods*

Thanks. It's nice being in charge & not being bitched at for stupidity. ^^; Although, someone the other day said I must be easy to be yelled at. XD Whatever that means. XD

*nods* Yeah?

Awe... yeah, while it's sad they're gone, that not bad at all. I did know my great granny, so yeah! :D

Snort, that is an odd thing that have said about you.

Well that's cool. I knew mine as well. She outlived my grandfather by a year. They died when I was about 10-11 years old

I know, right? XD

Thanks. Awe... *huggles* One died when I was about that age & the other died several years later. She probably would still be alive & her 90's if she didn't get colon cancer. my other great granny died when I was in my late 20's. I really didn't know her & she had been in a nursing home since I was a baby. She was 97, I think... her sister, who I never knew died at 95, or it could have been the other way around. XD The other died when I was little.

I never knew my dad's dad. he died young when my dad was 19.

and his brother was 9. I think that's one of the reasons my dad is generally unhappy. He basically took on the dad role young and feels he didn't get to do the things he wanted

Awe... your poor uncle! I can see that happening. It is a lot of responsibility for someone so young. He went from being a kid to man of the house.
