The 24 hours of rain before hand. Cold rain makes me ache, my ankle is done for the day. My bridge was nearly flooded out. There is a lake in the parking lot and the creek is almost cresting. WHee. At least tomorrow I have no work and the students get more time to study for midterms.

BUT my damn root canal is scheduled for tomorrow. Wanna bet I don't get to go?

And have some links because if I think about work I'll cry. The president called an emergency meeting today. I had class and couldn't go but frankly since it's a meeting about programs being canceled etc and broken contracts and people being let go, I think I'd rather teach and have a friend recap it for me.

My friend ES handed me this, Butcher does Steampunk. Okay, that means the next Dresden's File will be delayed and I really liked the last one. I'm on the fence about this one. Yes I will surely get it from the library BUT, I hate to say it, as much as I like Steampunk I've yet to read a series I've really liked in the genre. Carriger's first book was good but man that series went to crap fast. Also, I hated Butcher's fantasy series. So we'll see how this goes.

I have a new goal, to do this with a cat before ELD manages it with one of her hounds.

I doubt it's a secret I find Asians most attractive. Loved this photoshoot. Asian models breaking stereotypes

And if not Asians I still go for dark hair and dark eyes but I was blind to one thing I go for on a subconscious level, like this fellow, the lead of Magic! I shared this with ELD and first thing she said, 'I see he has a nose...' Okay so I go for Roman noses...

Came across this on Yahoo talking about the Osbourne kid we don't know. Frankly I don't really know any of them because I don't watch reality or talk shows but this young lady has a pretty voice. That said I wasn't that impressed with the song and the video...yeah that either.
