WTF? And Friday it's supposed to snow. Ah, midwest, you are a pile of craziness.

I'm faced with having to change either the title of my series or the title of Soldiers of the Sun. Titles make me cry. Hold me.

What's Up Wednesdays has closed. In a way, I don't mind so much. It got repetitive doing it every week. That said, it was also nice to have a professional blog post once a week for my three fans (and that blog is linked to Jana's goodreads page...).

So I was wondering if any of the people who write here would be interested in picking out a day to talk about our weekly (or bi-weekly) progress. Not really a true blog hop with linkee pages and stuff, just a little something for us. Anyone interested?

I know this family, so there's an escaped homicidal insane man running around back home. Wow. I'm wondering if he's the son of my third grade teacher (or nephew) the Zuccaro twins were subs but they really wanted to be rockers.

A co-worker(former) passed away. I liked him. He had a house in Rhinelander WI where I used to live. We talked about it all the time. I miss Wi and I'll miss him.

I think this video sums up my life right now.

Got a package of books from Wales today. I apparently won them (I had forgotten about it).

Wow, you know all the best people.

It's in the 90s here. I'm already feeling overheated. I suspect I will not be a happy camper this summer.

Don't I though?

Ugh, I know a lot of you try to sell me on the virtues of the Southwest but I'm not buying. I'd be dead already

Lately I've been wondering if I could handle a place with snowfall. Last summer was miserable, and I'm not looking forward to this summer. Bleah.

I bet it was. What you need is some place like Kentucky or Virginia with less snow than say New York

It's already stuck in the mid-80's here in Florida. And you're trying to come here in July for Rainbow Con? Really?

I'm doing Camp NaNo in April, because I'm a sheep and can't say no to a fellow Sandbox member who wants people in her cabin. I would have plenty of accountability to be held to if you want to go ahead with the weekly progress post. Anything to get me writing again. I'm so burned out on caregiving and the RPLA stuff I can't concentrate anymore, so effort and willpower are needed.

Okay, let's be clear: I don't WANT to go to Tampa in July but if I'm going to a con this year....I know. My plan is to NEVER leave the hotel.

Sounds good. I'm going Camp Nano too (trying to prod ELD into it) with a low word count goal because I'm probably going to have to edit shit again but damn it, these Vampires in Vegas are going to FINISH their f'ing story.

I will do so with the post though. Caregiving is so draining and you don't really get breaks. Have you found anything cool in RPLA? I know you can't give details but I do hope that you've found something that didn't make you want to gouge out your eyes

Nobody's leaving the hotel in July, not even the natives. There's so much going on you won't have time to leave anyway.

Frank Dollar and I are going to have another stab at writing a novel, the one with the dead-children photographer. We'll see how far we get this time before Frank sees a squirrel and takes off. I'm betting the wheels fall off at the halfway point. (Note to self: Go find a dead Victorian child photo for the NaNo book cover.)

I must be the pushover judge in RPLA, because despite a bit of passive hero, slow opening, and squandered plot opportunity, the writing I've seen has scored well. I've been an initial judge so far, too, so I'm seeing stuff that hasn't passed muster with other judges before I read it. I don't know who's getting the eyebleed stuff, but it isn't me.

hahhaa good point. About the only thing I'd want to see again in Tampa is Dali's museum anyhow.

Go Frank, come on. DO SOMETHING. Yes do that cover. I'm reminded I wanted to do a story with that idea too (vampire or ghost or som ething)

Now that you said it watch an eyebleed come your way
