It's raining dough

cornerofmadnessAnd not the good kind. Today has been yet another frustrating weird day for me. While I was gone for spring break my fridge heated up. It was set very low so I thought maybe I bumped the dial when I cleaned it out before leaving. I had the thought 'I hope nothing went bad.' Tonight I found what went bad. I was going to bake a tube of Pillsbury Grand's for dinner. The tube exploded. It hit me in the face. It hit the ceiling. Dough rained down everywhere. Guess it was warm enough to activate the yeast. I am not amused.
The same can be said about my stupid Android tablet. All I wanted was to borrow an ebook from the library because it was a) a mystery and b) started with X for my alphabet challenge. I've never done this before. Earlier in the week I learned you needed overdrive.com for this. I downloaded it but it didn't work. I took it in and asked the youngest librarian figuring he'd know. (He did. I like him. He's a fantasy artist and he's pretty good). He said download the app instead of the browser. I did. Took three tries because the google store kept not responding. Couldn't get the damn book to open. Finally got it open and then it would only read the copyright page. I have no idea how I finally got it to go to the novel (I was even clicking on chapter 10 just to see if I could get it to go to something other than copyright). Heaven help me if I accidentally lose this book because damn I'll never get it to work again.
The only thing I've done of merit is to get my novel back to the editors.
Abney Park has some new videos out for their new album. I didn't like this one at first but it really grew on me. This one is fun, has a few same-sex dance partners, though it's hard to tell since it looks like it was filmed inside a bowling ball. The credit reel is worth watching. The twink and the bear with the fake beard are out of control and too much fun. I need to use the twink (I think he's Shazam Watkins from the band The Fame Riot) somewhere.
George Takei sent out a thing with celebrities in their youth. I had NO idea Morgan Freeman was on the Electric Company. I remember loving that show as a child. I don't remember any of the skits though. I remember Spiderman, Electro-Woman and Dyno-Girl and the two faces finishing each other's words. I'm beginning to think every teacher/role model I had as a child was fucking high. For example.
I suspect back in the day it would have been considered diversity and hip and today maybe just a bit racist or at the least stereotypical.
Declutter day 334 Item tossed- Ostomy care creams Why kept-Samples from my medical days Why tossed-I haven’t seen a patient in 14 years. WHY I have carried something I never used anyhow through three moves? WHY?
