Goodbye Alan Rickman. I was sad about David Bowie but I feel a little crushed that we have lost you too and so quickly. I loved Alan in so many of his roles and I will miss him. What a beautiful voice he had.

As for me I still have no damn internet and I'm getting pretty pissed off since it impacts work so much.

In a move surprising no one, I didn't win a billion dollars. Ah well.

And a belated thank you to rahirah & wildrider for the holiday cookies. FINALLY got them because yes the mail was never reestablished on time either.

I also got a card from two friends I went thru residency with that I hadn't heard from in four years and finally took off MY card list. Head desk.

I did get my Maggie Stiefvater Raven cycle art and t-shirt. Oddly it looks better ON the t-shirt (which is super long...)

I still haven't read my fandom stocking stuff since I have no goddamn internet

Alan Rickman dying so close to Bowie - at the same age, also from cancer - felt like a sucker punch when I heard this morning. So very sad.
