That's what Dad got for his birthday today. Actually he only got @3 inches of snow but enough to call off the birthday dinner.

As for me, we got a shit ton more snow somewhere between 2-10AM. There's about a foot of snow out there. I took a small walk but it wasn't that pretty out as it didn't stick to the trees. I did see a couple of my neighbors shoveling the parking lot since our landlord couldn't be arsed to do it. He said 'I'll be down' (he lives here in the complex) but as of 3 pm those two were shoveling the whole damn thing by hand.

I didn't accomplish anything I wanted to today because all I did was dick around online.

I did start a bone broth in my old crockpot (as the new one is a tad too small for that). Yeah it's the latest craze and I don't really believe all the hype. On the other hand, I AM a fan of using up all the bits of anything that ends up on my dinner plate. I get a rotissiere chicken every week so why not at least make stock if not this bone broth. It's only one third the way thru the cook cycle but the taste isn't nearly as good as I was hoping. It's very bland in spite of the onion and garlic I floated in it. We shall see once this is thru it's 24 hr cook cycle.

Now I'm trying to edit Blood Red. God is this going slow. It's making me cry.

We got over 2 feet. XD I can't believe your landlord did nothing to help clean up the snow. Seriously, dude!

Got one fic done, need to do the next one, but I hear you on basically doing everything except what you need to do. XD

That is a lot of snow you got! They mistakenly reported us at level 3 snow emergency so he probably thought we weren't allowed out anyhow but really this is typical him. Do nothing.

Yeah! It took us a couple of hours to dig out. We still have the end of the driveway to do, but we're waiting for them to stop ploughing. No use in digging out only to have them push it all back in when they come by. WOW! That sounds bad! XD Still not nice of the landlord to "let" the tenants do it for him.

yeah I did that once living in WI. I swung into my driveway without looking and they had plowed it over. Got my car stuck and had to go out the window into the drift with a cast on my ankle. Then had to shovel the damn car out. Ah upper Wisconsin.

yes it is. so far tastes like nothing. it's actually fairly blah. once I strain it, I'm slapping pepper salt and garlic into it. If it gels right, I'll try it like that. if it doesn't gel, guess i have stock for this week's soup
