cornerofmadnessBut I still didn't get much of anything. I got a tousle hat and two manga. Ah well, at least it was fun to be out. I don't get to do much of it down home. I will be going to Huntington on the first and last day of APril. Hee. Guess I'll be doing shopping then.
A lot of shows being cut have been announced. I can't say I'm surprised by Castle. It's past time for that really. I'm shocked that Grimm is going. I thought it was doing very well. guess I was wrong. Sleepy Hollow is going too and I'm a little sad about that. Last year sucked and cost them their following. This year did better but what I miss about it is just like my parents said, it's a very diverse cast, actually more Africian-American than anything and yet race really isn't an issue on the show. We all really liked seeing the diverse cast without being reminded of prejudices every ten seconds.
I opted not to have fish from SHop & Save as I'm not a big fan but once we got home I regretted that. It was pretty tasty.
I've said many many times review the books you read on Goodreads/Amazon or wherever you buy them. It really helps more than you know. However, do NOT be a jackass about it. I didn't say anything in the Queer Sci Fi post on ...I don't even remember really because I just don't need the drama. But he was bragging on how he purposely goes around and low-rates the romances with certain tropes he doesn't like. I loathe when people do that. If it's not your trope why the hell read it and go around low rating it? Sigh.
