My copy of The Raven King made it here but I'm so not ready for this series to end.

But that leads me to this geeky dilemma. Maggie Stiefvater is going to be in Cincinnatti first weekend in May. I want to see her. That's also graduation weekend so I'm only free on Sunday. But my steampunk group is doing Rath-a-con a small con in Athens and Toothless will be there.

So do I drive 2 1/2 hours and spend the night to listen to a YA author surrounded by teens and get to spend 30 seconds speaking to her while she signs something mostly because I want the book wrap that will only sold at the book tours (and god knows what I'll buy since I know have all the books) or do I drive 1 hour and spend money taking a terrible picture with Toothless surrounded by little kids.

Why does everything have to be the same weekend?

I love these rings I don't even really like rings but I love these, real art.

Hmmm I feel like I should be worried that my doctor's nurse called me two days in a row asking me to call in to be seen after I left a message that the shots failed. (Would have called today but I'm in my lab from before they open until after they close)

I've managed to edit more of Blood Red (while ignoring my writers group. tears up) Progress.

I was talking to Mom when that stray cat jumped up and was looking at me thru the window. It started crying. 'how can you stand that? feed that poor thing.' So the stray has food and is probably now mine. head desk.

Are Maggie Stiefvater's books good? I always see them sitting out at my acupuncturist's office because his brother did the cover art for the Raven Cycle.

I love the Raven Cycle (not read the werewolf one since it seems a bit too paranormal romance for me though i should get them from the library)
