Got half the problems sorted
May. 21st, 2016 11:37 pmThe car goes in early monday morning (thrilling) and they said so long as the check engine light isn't flashing I should be able to drive it there. Cross your fingers.
Took over an hour but I THINK the new phone is working. Now to learn how this phone works. Ugh. Not even remotely interested in that.
The depression is slightly better but it took until about 3 today to feel like moving. I did get some of this room read up enough to know the problem is books. No seriously. I HAVE to stop buying them from library sales. I have to stop getting so many FROM the library. I need to get rid of books I know I'm not going to reread. I rarely reread any more so here's my new plan for book decluttering.
1. if it's an old non-fiction that is out of date, something I never plan to write about again, can be find online, it's going to half-price books or to the overseas charities.
2. If it sucked, it's out of here. If it was a library book I guess it can go to goodwill otherwise, half-price books (they can't take old library books)
3. If it was good but I know I'm not going to reread it, it still goes, maybe to a friend or just out.
4. and of course there will be keepers.
5. I plan to remove no less than 3 books a month for a year.... It's not much but it's a start.
I should have predicted disaster. I was in the tub tapping my toes to Ravel's Bolero while reading. Kanda was on the edge of the tub (because he's a pervert who likes to watch me bathe). He decided to grab my toes. After several tries he did that wind up his butt to spring forward thing and fell in the tub. Only his tail/butt got wet. He then ran in circles on the floor trying to catch his bubbly tail stopping only to glare at me for laughing.
