So freaking hot

It was 95 with nearly 90% humidity, so the heat index was like 105. Miserable. Thank god for the game room I'm sleeping in since it's below ground and 65 degrees.

I did trundle off to the farmer's market finally. I'm learning I'm no good face to face with vendors. I always over buy. I do this with books. I paid way more for pickled beets than was reasonable. I did get a lot of good veggies though.

I spent the rest of the day finishing what I could of my paper (it is as done as it can be until I get my research going) This is a huge accomplishment.

And did I mention that my dean wrote me a glowing letter for my yearly evaluation? The average student approval rate of a professor at my school is 43%. Mine is 75%

Now to finish Camp Nano and my charity story and my SF story and find first readers for them.
