2016 isn't going to be happy

Until my entire childhood is gone. r.I.P. Gene Wilder. I didn't realize he had alzheimer's. His nephew called it a pirate-illness and that is such a terribly perfect description. It's a disease that steals you. I think I fear that more than I fear losing a foot to diabetes.

Because the new dean didn't check with us before saying yes to some local big donors who want to start giving to the science department again, the time selected is one where no one can meet them so I have to finish up class a bit early and go represent biology. Wish me luck.

I was disappointed when I learned that the haunted Cincinnati tour was every Saturday but this one coming. I started looking for other things to do but didn't find anything I really wanted other than maybe to just go to Cinci and do something else or go to Loveland Castle (also on the menu) and come home.

BUT I found a different ghost tour and I need to get tickets and a hotel. Here's hoping.
