Okay for the techies out there can downloading Yahoo Messenger totally Screw up my computer? I did it today and now every time I hit post to answer my LJ posts it would Beep and not post. I had to hit a second time. SIGH. Am I going to have to pull YM back off. And NOW I remember why I disabled that POS program in the first place. Every time I get an email it yanks me out of my word processing program to go look at the new email like I could give a shit. I KNEW I junked it because it was annoying. I had forgot how annoying.

Oh and yesterday (before YM) suddenly ANY and ALl geocities sites I hit want to install a language program into my computer. These are sites I go to all the time and this has never happened before. Any thoughts? I ran spyware and anti virals but nothing turned up out of the ordinary.

Nanomo...not as good today under 2000 words. Pooh. At least it's going though. I'm over 26,000 words but the counter thingie isn't working tonight.

Figured it out

The reason Yahoo Messenger is killing my LJ posts is that when I loaded it I got a Yahoo tool bar too. Now I specifically said NO to this tool bar. I unchecked that box and all but it still loaded and I can't get rid of it. It doesn't really bother me but what it has on it is a pop up window blocker. It's seeing LJ comments as a pop up and kills it. Funniest part it see's YAHOO'S own address book as a pop up and won't let me open that either. I managed to disable the pop up killer and I'm going to write yahoo about this. TWITS.

Oh and I keep forgetting to pimp this but no more. Go look at this virtual Angel Season Six  brought to you by the Mutant Existential Scoobies. I've yet to read it but I know the work of the authors and I know neither I nor you will be disappointed in it.

And hey, Makai, yeah you, my nanomo main character, will you STOP hero worshipping your cousin, Tully. He's bad news. He tortures people.
