A Day in Which very little happened

Other than a media mail box finally showed up here (and at home) a full week after all the others. At least I think I have all my cd's here and I've got them in a spread sheet. Will look to see if I can put it here or just email it to you. I have only a part of my full collection here, some 200 cd's. If you want to see the list and see if I have anything you might want, let me know.

Mostly I just chatted in LJ with MAKD, prepared my test for my students and whiled away the day doing my IWRY story in which Angel has turned into a jackass and my nanomo novel. You want to know how that's going? I'll paste in my open letter to my characters (they have a thread in nanomo called Dear uncontrollable, uncooperative, unredeemable character and I posted this there)

And all of you QUIT obsessing about your hair. I know you're teenagers but still. Even the assassin plot is revolving around hair. Do you know how wrong that is?

Look what I woke up to

Pretty awards. Nice way to start the day. They're all from The Potential Awards (which is taking nominations, more categories than you can shake a stick at. Go nominate)

Once Upon a Midnight Dreary (the one I wrote for Christmas last year where Dru goes after a still mind-wiped Connor and Faith comes to the rescue. Oh and lots of ludicrous Spike/Angel scenes) won for best quote (reader's choice) and best holiday.  ( Read more... )
