Thought this might amuse some of you

I'm still plugging away at the nanomo thing and I had hoped to have more fanfic done but the computer is being a real pain in the butt tonight and is slower than molasses on a frigid day. So instead I'll waste time doing this then hit the hay. I thought you might like to get a visual of the 'models' I used for my novel's main character and his two friends (yes, I know three teenaged friends...but they have next to nothing in common with HP and friends other than one is a red-headed mage, sigh. Not sure how that happened.).

Oh and Carantoc, the lord of the castle and Makai's mentor looks a lot like Orlando Bloom in his natural state and if you bleach S2 Spike of all color (but leave those lovely blue eyes) and you'll have Makai's cousin, the rather nasty Tully.

Let it Snow!

Things i've been reminded of
1) once you're done shoveling the driveway it will inevitably snow again
2) snow, no matter how fluffy it looks weighs a ton
3) there is NO need to wear a sweatshirt under your coat when you shovel. You will die of heat prostration that way
4) my car can only defrost the window when the heater's on full blast.
5) my car's heater has two settings cold and the fires of hell.
6) combine 4+5 and you have Dana driving down the highway with the windows down and snow blowing in so she doesn't melt

Things I'm learning
1) the road I live on remains unplowed. No wonder I'm the only one without a truck
2) my thinsulate snow gloves from hell are so damn hot that they filled with sweat as a I shoveled
3) there are more animals partying on my lawn than I thought. Just look at all the tell tale prints.

Hit a wall at 6 pm energy wise. Been trying to write. Getting no where. Need a little more help from the peanut gallery.
