I hope everyone had a nice holiday. I spent it cooking too much for one person, eating too much and watching bad horror movies like Halloween H20

AND writing. I did it! I'm over the 50,000 word mark (not that I'm surprised. I figured I could do it but now I'm wondering how much of this will be kept once all is said and done!). I'm not done with the novel of course but i think I have something that will be viable with lots of work. Now to submit it to get that official winner status.

Oh and in further Nanomo news, Makai is now bald. I TOLD him it would happen if I had to hear about his hair one more time.

"Ignore them, Makai," Carantoc patted his back. "But sadly, your hair is a total loss. There’s just a few patches left. It’ll all have to be shaved."

Makai pouted. "Do I look bad bald?"

"Yes. Maybe we can put a hat on you," Tully said.

"That’s right, Tully, Traumatize him more," Carantoc said sourly

ETA - Because I'm a computer idiot, I've obviously done something wrong with the picture and I'm sure it had to do with the thing. I haven't figured out how to come up with the file name for the picture but maybe I'll stumble across it...okay I'd have a more productive time going and sticking my tongue on the ice in the swimming pool.
