Write Every day - Day Six

Drop your day six accomplishments here. Bear with me as I tweak things from time to time. I'm trying to accommodate several diverse wants/needs of the participants with this.


And because this is how I feel today

I'm already second guessing my nano novel.

How about a few writing prompts: There is a magic talisman that allows its keeper to read minds. It falls into the hands of a young politician…

We’ve seen cute and cuddly dragons, mean and vicious dragons, and noble dragons. Write a story about a different kind of dragon.

Day Five - Those who have written!

Beta read 11 pages of fic for a friend and wrote 1500 words on the current chapter of the WIP. Finally it's flowing again.

Day 5:
80 new words, but just a byproduct of editing.

I'm getting to the difficult part at the end. Editing it all to make sense. ;)

I edited to fix what had been wrong with that scene, but I realized afterwards that I need to go over a lot more - probably the last four chapters - to tweak it in the right direction.

I am still missing one scene, so I could theoretically write it, but I want to get the character motivations clearly apparent first.

So, more thinking it is, and trying to find the right places to change.

p.s.: so sorry you fell and hurt your ankle and hip. I wish you a fast recovery!

You are SO right. Editing can be a bear. I'm in the process of editing a novel that the publisher wants to see again if I make X changes so I'm tearing it up.

Good luck in getting yours tweaked.

And thanks. That leg is weak (after a year of misdiagnosis that should never have happened) as the muscles have atrophied The foot at least is feeling better.
