One week down with lots of good progress all around. I'm making a couple more tweaks to these posts but this is probably where I'll leave it for how I'm doing things. I'm balancing this between two jobs so I have to make it something I can do easily enough. I know I can't make everyone totally happy but I hope it's at least workable for you.

Thanks. I have an idea of where to go with the one. The other is slow going. An online friend has a family tragedy & without even knowing about it at the time, I was working on a funeral scene, which seems really trivial & in poor taste after what she's gone through, so it's making it hard to work on. I can't change it cuz it's a prequel & that had already happened. XD

So I started & finished a short story. I wrote 525 words for today. I'm waiting to get it back from my beta so I can post it. :D

*nods* I'll eventually finish it. It's got nearly 13000 words, so I'm not about to give up on it and I'm now on my way to finally finishing it. (it had been sitting on my desktop all summer)But if I leave sit another month & pick it up next month or December, I'm okay with it. I do have another fic I can start. :D

*nods* I've got a few that are unfinished & two are chapter fics. I need to go snag them from Madrona since I can't find them in my files. XD They're both that old that I've forgotten what I've called the files. XD One though id easier to find than the other, since I was writing based on prompts for a comm that's been long gone. I know I have the prompt list, so finding that will lead to the rest. The other... T.T I totally can't find it ANYWHERE. T.T since the one I can't find at all is one that needs some tweaking & rewriting, that's the one I really want to work on & finish. Figures... XD

I wrote my rolling remix assignment coming in rough at 1173.

Getting started was like pulling teeth especially when I kept checking the word count and wondering why it was taking so long to get it written.

So this is for day 7? I think i have lost a day somewhere... ;). Oops.

Day 7 and Day 8 were both character and plot brainstorming for me, no actual writing was done on the story. But I thought about it and looked at it, so I'm counting them as writing days.

I was feeling more confident of where to change things by the end, so that's what I started doing today. But I'll check in separately for day 9 in your next post.
