It actually looks like summer here in the North Woods (though even in fiction numbers still scare me so...) All of the drabbles are PG-13 except the Spike/Dru which almost approaches R for sexual suggestion.

getting there

Well WV wants me to come down (right in the middle of packing of course) They're offering the same money and maybe more. I can't NOT go. In fact, I'm trying to hurry the packing along so I can just drive home monday/tuesday and then drive down there.

Most of the stuff is now packed. Oh god, the mess. I'm such a horrible pack rat (but on the upside i found the lost copy of the first two redone chapters of my and ELD's novel that died in the hard drive crash). Now to start sealing up boxes and figuring what's not in a box that's mine (this house is filled with the stuff of the previous owner).

Tomorrow I have to head to the hand surgeon for the whole workman's comp thing. In a town I've never been too. Half way across the state. Sigh.

clarification

Since I stink at multitasking and I'm twelve shades of distracted, I forgot a KEY word in my last post. I got the second INTERVIEW in WV not the job but there's only two of us going for it (and sadly the other girl gets there like tomorrow, a week before I can even try to be there)

Mom has informed me I'm a source of endless trouble (hey she volunteered to try and find me flights there since I'll be gone all day tomorrow and I'm packing)
