Okay remember when I said my bank LOST my original checks and had to reprint them? Well I got them today. THe teller tries to transfer money from my checking to my savings, squints at my new checks and asks if the account is right. I look and say I thought it had a 9 in it and that's not on the checks. I only have my INITIAL deposit slip as the only thing with my account number on it. I have lots of bills to pay but since all I have is those counter checks and that initial deposite I don't carry them around in fear of losing them.

She goes to the computer and says, 'no they're right.' Transfers my money and off I go. Well I sit down to write out some bills with my new checks, glance at the inital deposit slip. The account number on the new checks is WRONG. Bet the whole apartment complex can swear in Italian now. So this means:
A) I still can't write out my bills (and not everyone takes online payment)

B) My account might bounce because who knows into WHOSE account they transfered 300$?

C) I'll have to wait another week or two to get new and correct checks

Can we say me and this bank are NOT off to a great start

ETA _ I forgot to mention the bank also neglected to call me and tell my my checks were in
