My poor tired brain
Jan. 15th, 2007 05:54 pmSo I dragged myself to Wal-mart today to get the things I forgot at Kroger's yesterday. I still have the strength of a wet napkin. This sucks. Anyhow I'm wheeling around in the palace of evil, when over the musak comes The Jungle Book's Wanna Be Like You . Now this has me dying. Why (other than dubious musical choice there Wally World)? the newest fandom I'm writing in is Saiyuki and one of the main characters is Son Goku, the legendary Monkey King (probably one of the most endearing, long standing characters in Asian lore, though I doubt he's recognizable in either manga incarnations, Saiyuki And Dragon Zball )
Oh the images this song was conjuring in my sick little brain. And then I roll past the frozen foods and see something in there called. "Monkey Bread" and totally lose it.
