Last Day

And it was taken up by a day long meeting from 8Am to nearly 4 pm. Do the words 'waste of my day' mean anything? Actually it wasn't a waste. I probably edited through fifty pages of writing during this, so that was probably more productive than I would have been otherwise.

The interim president did seek me out to tell me how much those girls who went to the Phillipines were talking me up all over the place. I'll need to email a thanks to them. They've done a whole lecture series around here and it seems like i've gotten a thank you at each and every one.

And I might lose part of my summer off because of a grant that was received that requires 'stem faculty' in math and sciene to go to workshops and more or less mentor middle school teachers...only this was the first I've heard of it, after the fact which is mildly annoying. I did volunteer (there's a lot of money riding on this and it look goods) but sheesh.
