Haunted Theatres

one of the profs is active in the local theatre and upon seeing my decorated office (I'll post pictures tomorrow, i'm beat) invited me to help with the haunted theatre production. It's been 18 years since i've been working with a theatre but it felt very good. As I was stumbling around trying to find where everyone was I saw a dark ugly staircase leading into the basement and said, 'don't wanna go down there.'

Three guesses where i'm working. Yeah, in the very old earthen basement with narrow tunnels all over including some that used to cross the street to an old hotel. I helped out for two hours and my hand went from swollen and painful which it's been for two days (the WIND was causing pain today) to completely numb and unable to work it.

It'll tell you this, that old theatre has been brought back nicely and there's a huge upstairs and up there were two gorgeous Asian wooden chairs with dueling dragons as the chair backs (turns out they were donated by my ob/gyn) and i got to meet the mother of two of my students. It was fun.
